Vienna, a city glittered in gold. Originally came here because my friend had specifically planned on coming to see the Taylor Swift Eras concert, but that unfortunately got cancelled due to a terrorist threat. :( But we still made the most of it visiting this beautiful city!
The first night was FUN. We trained in at different times and eventually met up with her friends who had already gotten started at a local bar. When we walked on, they were several drinks in, and we were quickly caught up - the bartender and his son gave us copious amounts of free shots (I'm still not really sure why), and we had lots of fun dancing, including on a pole that was stationed at the front of the bar. My friend was doing inversions on it and broke a decorative skull on the bar with her foot hilariously and accidentally, and somehow we both got gifted a free bottle of wine upon leaving. She got gifted a rose. It was a fun time.
Did not sleep very much at all, and then the next day we visited the palace. It was lovely!
Love roses. A very majestic palace with statues and gardens galore.
Just doing our usual acrobatic poses. Kind of scary doing it so high up on ledges, but we did!
Did a wine-tasting tour. It was fun!
Visited St. Stephen's Cathedral - gorgeous.
Ended the trip with a jaunt to a tall tower with 360 views of the city. Had lunch/snacks high in the sky, celebrating my friend's 30th birthday. :)
We were so delirious with sleep deprivation. It was a great time.
Sprinted our way to the train station to catch our train to Prague for the night. Bye Vienna!
